Interview: Pascal Wegner on Financial Positivity, Entrepreneurship, and His Journey
Pascal Wegner, better known as Pascal Success Wegner, is an entrepreneur, content creator, and one of the rising voices in the field of Financial Positivity in the German-speaking world. We sat down with him to talk about his approach, his motivation, and his plans.
Pascal, you’re known for the term “Financial Positivity.” What exactly is behind it?
Financial Positivity means fundamentally changing your relationship with money. Most people are either afraid of the topic of money or completely suppress it. Neither is good. Financial Positivity means: I look at my situation honestly, I stop seeing money as a stress factor, and I start dealing with it in a realistic and positive way.
It’s not about getting rich. It’s about living financially worry-free.
How did you get into this topic?
At some point, I realized that an incredible number of people spend most of their lives worrying about money. Or they’re stuck in jobs that make them unhappy because they believe they have no choice. That stuck with me.
I started asking myself: How can you realistically work less and still have more money? And the more I explored this, the clearer it became that it’s less about investment strategies and more about the way we think about money.
What makes you different from other finance influencers?
I think the biggest difference is that I don’t sugarcoat things. I don’t sell a dream of quick riches. I don’t tell people they can be financially free in 30 days.
What I do: I share realistic, practical steps. Things that actually work. And I’m also honest when something doesn’t work. That might not make for great clickbait, but it’s more important to me to be honest than to chase clicks.
You’re also an entrepreneur. How does that fit together?
Perfectly, actually. As an entrepreneur, I experience every day what I talk about. I know what it means to take financial risks. I know how it feels when less money comes in. And I also know how it feels when strategies pay off.
That gives my content substance. I’m not just talking theory — I live it.
What’s your advice for someone just starting to deal with their finances?
First: Start. Today. Not tomorrow, not next month. Today.
Second: Be honest with yourself. Look at where you stand financially. Without sugar-coating.
Third: Define your personal “enough.” Not what Instagram shows you. But what YOU really need for a good life.
And fourth: Invest in yourself first. In your knowledge, your skills, your health. That’s the best return on investment there is.
What are your plans for the future?
I want to make the concept of Financial Positivity so big that it becomes the standard. So that when people think about their finances, they no longer feel fear first, but see possibilities.
Specifically, I’m continuing to grow my community, producing more content, and working on projects that practically help people live more financially positive lives.
